The idea for Ink Tart came in the spring of '07, just before my move to San Francisco. I naively
thought an online magazine featuring the stellar work of female artists working in comics
could be slung together overnight...but with the new year comes new conviction: GET IT OUT
THERE!
Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to helping get this idea up and
running. Specifically, thanks to everyone who submitted work to Ink Tart. If you're work isn't
here in our first feature, please keep submitting new work!!
